This collection of short prayers is offered as a resource for anyone engaged in pastoral visiting.Sometimes we find ourselves at a loss for the right way to pray with others, whether in happy, sad or even tragic situations. These prayers can offer a template for creativity or a ready-made outline of what to pray and in which situation.The more-than-fifty prayers provided here are split into five groupings: joy, transition, caring, emotion, and crisis. Each set concludes with one focusing on a particular aspect of God’s loving nature.
